At Universal Mercy, we strongly believe in developing the whole child, and we equip our students with essential tools that lay the foundation for becoming lifelong, confident learners with a strong sense of self. While we offer a rigorous academic curriculum that challenges inquisitive minds, our individualized approach encourages children to explore the various avenues to problem solving, promoting creativity and innovation in the classroom.
Our curriculum is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools (ACS) and consists of six core courses -language arts/English, math, science, history, art, and Islamic studies. With a mixture of on- and offline teaching tools (interactive animations, award winning printed books with beautiful illustrations and narrative, original CDs and videos, and materials for hands-on experiments), courses are taught with recurring themes that build on previous lessons to enrich the student learning experience.
Islamic studies are an integral part of our curriculum. Inspiring a strong Muslim identity is crucial not just for our children, but also for our Ummah. While we have devoted an entire course to the five pillars, Islamic teachings will also be incorporated into each of the other classes with religious stories and examples replacing traditional materials whenever possible.
